Built by the Alexander Company in 1959, and designed by architects William Krisel and Dan Palmer, this classic post-and-beam home is set in the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood, surrounded by other vintage Alexander residences. In each of the three bedrooms, you’ll find brand new Casper mattresses and pillows dressed with premium Brooklinen cotton percale. When you roll out of bed, you can slip into a cozy cotton robe, hop onto a yoga mat for some sun salutations, or turn on the Smart TV and indulge in a lazy morning—the choice is yours!

Each bedroom has a Smart TV with Chromecast and pre-paid Disney+ programming for the whole family to enjoy. In the closets, you’ll find cotton robes, yoga mats, extra beddings, and complete towel sets so you feel right at home. There are also ceiling fans, night lights, and phone chargers in every room to keep cool and connected.

The master bedroom features a king bed, an ensuite bathroom with a step-in shower, and access to its own private courtyard.

There are plenty of dining options to consider here at the Flat on Alexander… Inside, you can keep it casual at the original kitchen island, built in 1959, or gather ‘round the genuine marble table with authentic Charles and Ray Eames dining chairs by Henry Miller. Outside, dine al fresco at a shaded bistro table or set the table for the whole family at the 10-seater concrete dining table in the yard.

For a sunset happy hour (or even for brunch cocktails), head over to the custom wet bar inspired by Roy Lichtenstein. A high-capacity ice maker and vintage 1960s glassware await the classic mixologist. With a clever recipe book and full cocktail set, you’ve got everything you need to get the party started! There’s also a place to keep your favorite wines at perfect temp in the wine cooler.

And let’s not forget the multitude of ways to delight in your cup of morning glory! Our high-end coffee and tea bar is equipped with a Jura coffee machine for both espresso drinks and traditional coffee pours. We provide regular and decaf bean options which can be freshly ground using the machine. There’s a french press for use, too, if that’s your preference. If tea is more your style, we offer a host of herbal options with an electric water kettle and all the fixin’s. No matter how you like your cup, we got you covered! And if there’s something missing, just let us know and we’ll make sure it’s waiting for you upon arrival.

Set the mood with some background music from the high-end turntable with surround-sound speakers and a collection of classic vinyls. If you don’t find a vinyl you like, connect to the speakers via bluetooth and play whatever your heart desires. Because of the city’s strict rules on outdoor noise, there are no speakers available for the outside areas.

“Wonderful place to stay with a group of friends, VERY well stocked house, had everything we could have needed, drinks, s'more makings, ping pong table, pool floats, good coffee, baking equipment.... made our trip really convenient and easy. The star of the show is the fully-renovated sparkling saltwater swimming pool (8’ deep) complete with a built-in jacuzzi spa, tanning ledge, and bubblers that light up the night with multi-colored LEDs.

If you don’t want to sprawl out on land, you can lounge in the water on one of the several pool floats and noodles that are provided (including an electric pump for easy inflation). Keep your drinks nearby with an in-pool ice chest and cocktail table and customize your shade preference with adjustable umbrellas. With the outdoor shower, you can skip the pool altogether and cool off (or warm up) in-between games as it provides both hot and cold water.

Unleash your competitive spirit on the newly built Bocce Ball court, at the oversized ping-pong table, or with any of the other lawn games like Cornhole and Bottle Bash. When the scores are settled and the day is done, crack open a cold one and take a seat around the firepit while the BBQ masters throw steaks and kabobs on the Weber grill (natural gas and charcoal options available), then roast some s’mores for dessert!
